Green Mechanical Council announces new director

NEENAH, WI - May 9, 2008 - The Green Mechanical Council announced today the appointment of Ralph Avallone, International President of the Green Energy Council, to the Green Mechanical Council Board of Directors.

Avallone has educated many large corporations and businesses worldwide in regards to greening their daily practices to increase their triple bottom line: economic, environmental and social benefits.

He is a strong proponent of Smart Sustainable Growth principles and is a founding member of the Green Energy Council and author of the GEC Smart Sustainable Growth Initiative, Builder Initiative and the GEC Shades of Green Initiative.

Avallone brings extensive global experience, understanding of the energy production arena and expertise in the networks of politics and industry.

The mission of the Green Mechanical Council (www.greenmech.org) is to educate contractors, field technicians, and industry leaders about creating and maintaining environmentally sound residential and commercial mechanical systems.
