The Green Mechanical Council is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Memorandum of Cooperation with the Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA).

The agreement calls for both organizations to mutually co-operate to educate contractors, field technicians, and industry leaders about creating and maintaining environmentally sound residential and commercial mechanical systems.

“We believe that mutual cooperation between CABA and the Green Mechanical Council will positively impact the growth of the integrated building systems industries and complement the efforts of both organizations to enhance energy efficiency throughout the built environment,” stated Ronald J. Zimmer, CABA president and CEO.

According to the agreement, CABA will work in strategic partnership with the Green Mechanical Council to exchange research, information and industry intelligence. The agreement also mandates cooperation and support for conferences and exhibitions.

“In order to maximize energy efficiency, minimize pollution and maximize renewable resource use throughout the built environment, wide cooperation and consultation throughout our sector is imperative,” stated Tom Meyer, Executive Director, Green Mechanical Council. “As a result, I am gratified that the Green Mechanical Council has the opportunity to work with CABA, the leading organization promoting intelligent buildings and homes.
